HP Printer Fail

Has your HP Printer suddenly stopped working?inks

If your HP inkjet has just died it may not be ready for the skip and is probably just playing up thanks to a recent software update that HP decided you needed to have to make sure they were being “dedicated to the best printing experience”.

Here is what HP say about the update – “We updated a cartridge authentication procedure in select models of HP office inkjet printers to ensure the best consumer experience and protect them from counterfeit and third-party ink cartridges”

So if your printer is not working it may just be those cheap ink cartridges that you have been installing using happily and saving a fortune for years that HP have decided are no longer suitable.

The good news is due to the fact that HP now has millions of unhappy customers around the World thanks to this ingenious decision that one their overpaid idiots has made they will be releasing another optional update soon that hopefully will resurrect your dead printer and leave a bit of space in the Worlds landfill sites.

Obviously HP have  admitted they should have done a better job of communicating about the authentication process and has apologized to the “small number of customers effected” but did warn that they “will continue to use security features to protect the quality of our customer experience” so be warned as those third party print supplies may again be prevented from working, leaving you and millions of others with no other options but to go and buy an Epson or remortgage your house to buy and fit genuine HP cartridges.
